FAQs
What can I expect during an individual therapy session?
Yes, confidentiality is the number one priority in therapy. Every topic discussed during sessions is protected by law unless it’s a case of abuse or heightened risk of hurting others or yourself. These specific instances will be discussed and explained to you by our therapists.
How do I know if I need individual therapy?
What if I don't want to talk about something?
Most of our clients begin therapy with weekly meetings. We also recommend that frequency as it helps build commitment, momentum and continuity of the therapeutic process. With time, you can switch to bi-weekly or even monthly sessions if needed.
