FAQs
What Will My First Session Look Like?
Your first session is a great time to determine how comfortable you feel with us, share what brought you here, and what you hope to achieve in the therapeutic process.
Will My Therapy Be Confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is the number one priority in therapy. Every topic discussed during sessions is protected by law unless it’s a case of abuse or heightened risk of hurting others or yourself. These specific instances will be discussed and explained to you by our therapists.
How Often Do We Need To Meet?
Most of our clients begin therapy with weekly meetings. We also recommend that frequency as it helps build commitment, momentum and continuity of the therapeutic process. With time, you can switch to bi-weekly or even monthly sessions if needed.
How Long Is The Entire Therapeutic Process?
The length of the therapeutic process varies from one person to another. Some clients might meet their objective with around 10 sessions, while others might wish to explore their mental health with long-term support.
What Is a Clinical Mental Health Intern?
Our interns are graduate students currently enrolled in counseling programs around the country including Colorado Springs area. Interns have finished – or are about to finish – all required coursework from their graduate programs, and are working towards completing internship hours so that they can pursue licensure in a mental health field.
What Is Your Fee?
Our 60-minute sessions are $100, with the exception of Katrina’s sessions, which start at $200/hour.
Do You Accept Insurance?
Yes, here’s the list of accepted insurances: Medicaid, Colorado Community Health Alliance, Colorado Access, Aetna, Cigna, Cigna EPA.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
