Alycia Shelton
Intern of Counseling
Hi, I am Alycia! I am currently a student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at
Colorado Christian University. I am from New Jersey, but I have traveled due to my time in the
United States Air Force. Upon separating from the Air Force, I worked in corporate America as a
midlevel leader for 12 years. In 2019, I lost one of my closest friends to addiction. I was
extremely devastated that I was unable to help her, which partially fueled my desire to pursue
this career field. I am married, and my husband and I have a blended family. Besides having the
goal of helping you bring out your best self, I enjoy being outdoors and running. My personal
motto is “be kind!” I look forward to meeting you and working together to achieve your goals!
