D11 Summer Mental Health Skills Program in Colorado Springs
At Burning Sage Therapy, our Summer Mental Health Skills Program provides a supportive, engaging space where children and teens can build confidence, strengthen emotional skills, and connect with others in a meaningful way.
What We Do
Our program blends therapeutic support with fun, structured activities to help youth develop essential life skills. Led by trained mental health professionals, each group focuses on:
- Emotional Regulation- Learning how to understand and manage big feelings
- Coping Skills- Building healthy tools to navigate stress, anxiety, and frustration
- Social Skills – Improving communication, friendships, and peer interaction
- Self-Esteem and Confidence-Encouraging self-expression and a strong sense of identity
- Problem-Solving- Developing resilience and decision-making skills
How it Works
- Small Group setting (typically 3-4 students per group)
- Age-appropriate groups (elementary through middle school)
- Structured, theme-based activities each day
- Led by licensed clinicians and supervised interns
