Ryn Pantoya

Hi! My name is Ryn Pantoya and I am currently enrolled at University of Colorado Colorado Springs working towards my Masters in Clincal Mental Health Counseling. I previously received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Colorado State University Pueblo. I have lived in Colorado my whole life and love being involved in community and helping others. In my free time I enjoy reading, painting, watching anime, makeup, and fashion. I love art and creativity and believe it can serve as an outlet for self expression and deep emotion.
I am welcoming of all and want to provide a comfortable and honest space for individuals to express themselves wholeheartedly without judgement. I am especially interested in working with adolescents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, those struggling with anxiety, and women and girls. I understand the anxieties and fears that come with being a teenager and would love to help walk next to and support those who need it.
My goal as a counselor is to show up authentically and with compassion. I provide a space that is nonjudgmental for people to reflect and share all the thoughts that may be weighing them down. Forming connection with clients through honesty and humor is important and fulfilling. I love hearing people’s stories and understanding what makes each person unique.
